Acura Illustration -large-

Update 04/17/06: I look at this now and all I can think of how much I have learned since then. Keep in mind this was done less than 4 months from the first time I ever opened ANY vector illustration software. There are definitely some issues with the image now that I can look back on it, mostly having to do with the use of transparencies and filters. Most of the highlights are just too coarse once the image is viewed closely. The modeling is well done, except for some of the objects I did at the end (note the rear wheel hub... blech).

Wanted to update a larger image size due to some requests, but didn't want to delete my original posts due to several comments i wanted to follow up on.



this image was my living hell for the 20+ hours i put into it.. i forget how many exactly..

I have to say thank you to everyone that has commented on this piece... I think the accolades that i have recieved from this community far outweighed even the 'A' that i recieved in class!!
